Dodge has brought the facelifted 2014 Durango at New York Auto Show. It has a new front fascia with updated grille and slightly revised headlights which optionally can receive LED accents. The back of the car shows racetrack-like taillights and a tweaked rear bumper, while 18- to 20-inch restyled alloys are available. Inside there’s a redesigned center stack, a new dashboard and a 5- or 8.4-inch uConnect infotainment system. Other changes include a new steering wheel, center console boasting a rotary shifter, optional Blu-ray system with two 9-inch screens, as well as a digital instrument cluster and support for USB, AUX and SD.

2013 Dodge Challenger V6

Chrysler has issued a recall for the V6 version of the 2013 Dodge Challenger (as pictured above in 2012MY ) over the possibility of a wiring harness that could short circuit and lead to a fire. Owners of these V6 Challengers built from November 2012 through January 2013 are being urged to contact dealers immediately and, in the meantime, not to drive their cars or park in or near any buildings.

2013 Dodge Avenger Blacktop Edition

As we all know very well, Chrysler enjoys releasing special edition models throughout its range of vehicles and they seem to be getting cooler just about each year. Dodge is one brand that receives more than its fair share of special edition models and it is has just unveiled three more special edition models. The three affected models are the Dodge Avenger, Charger R/T and Challenger R/T. This kit, which Dodge has dubbed the Blacktop package, won’t add much in terms of performance to their base model. However, in terms of flat out styling, they are all three rather chilling looking – as much as a from-the-factory car can be. The Avenger has certainly received quite a beating from experts, despite the fact that it is the most powerful mid-size sedan on the market today.
